The Snow Day That Went Went Wrong

One day there was no school. Snow day! But it was not very fun.

My brother and I were putting on our snow gear. We opened the first door, and couldn't believe our eyes! I couldn't see one milometer of anything but snow! The snow was as high as our door. So much for going outside.

Everyone, including my mom, was trying to get out. Shoveling was useless because whatever we dug, just caved back in. Of coarse, my brother was no help because he doesn't even know how to use a shovel! Eventually, we just gave up.

I was becoming claustrophobic being stuck inside with no fresh air. Banging on the walls, slamming on the windows, and rocking in a corner were all of the sign effects. My brother, Michael, would scream at me and hit me from yelling at the wall. My mom would lock me in my room, which is only a smaller space.

I heard a cracking noise coming from upstairs. "Mom, the window is cracking!" I yelled. Her reaction was mumbling a lot of different things that I couldn't understand. We ended up putting duct tape all over the window.

Then a firefighter shoveled to our door and saved us. Everything was fine.
