Social Studies Poster

In the past two weeks in Social Studies class, we have been working on posters. The theme for this year's poster is: Canada: Strong and Free.
The reason I drew the Polar Bear, Beaver, Moose, and Loon, was because they are what Strongly makes other countries realize Canad's symbols, not to mention that they are on the coins.
I drew the Bluenose because it was THE Fastest boat ever, way back. The Parliment building was drawn because those Members of Parliment give us the Freedom to make our own choices, Freely.
I drew the Totem Pole and the Inukshuk because every carving on the totem pole means somehting special. And the inukshuk, because it is very important in the northern part of Canada.
The tree stump the beaver is sitting on represent all of the trees and forests that cover Canada
The Grass Plains represent the prarie provinces, and the snow represents the Arctic, here in Canada.
Last, but certanly not least, we have the river, running through the picure, which happens to represent the St. Lawrence River, one of the most known rivers in Canada.
