Social Poster

This week, we've been doing sheets in social class. The poster is supposed to represent the message 'strong and free'. Each thing in my poster represents some type of message. The beaver (formed as Sir John A. Macdonald) represents freedom because Sir John A. Macdonald gained Canada freedom. The mountains represent strength becasue mountains are very hard to move. The moose head and the inukshuk represents a guardian or a leader because there's always something guarding our country. The loon represents wealth because the loon appears on the loonie. The lighthouse represents guidance because a lighthouse would generally guide a sailor through the night. The teepees represents home and/or homeland because the natives stayed true to their homeland. And that is what my poster represents!
