This week we started a new novel called island of the Blue Dolphin. It's about a 12 year old girl called Karana. One day a Russian came to their island to hunt sea otters but he wasn't fair and wanted more for himself. So the villagers that lived in the village and the Russian captain got in a fight and Karana's father got killed. It's a good book to read.
