This week we started reading a novel that is called: The Island of the Blue Dolphins. Every time we finish reading we do a response journal where we name all of the characters and the settings. The main character of this book is Karana. In the book, so far, there was a Russian and the Aleuts came to kill the sea otter that surround the island for their pelts.
I, personally find this book very interesting and I was very anxious while I was reading it. All of the fighting involved was very exciting to read about. I can't wait to continue reading to find out what else happens.
