Equivalent Fractions

This week we learned about equivalent fractions in Math.  Do you want to know how to find equivalent fractions? You do! Alright then. If this was your fraction:  5/10, You would divide or multiply to find an equivalent fraction. So lets try to Multiply. You must always multiply the top number by the bottom number (or in math talk, the neumerater, top number, and the denominater, bottom number). Now, we will multiply both by 5. So 5x5=25. There's our first number. 5x10=50. And there's our second number. Now here is the equivalent fraction: 25/50.
There is also a fraction, it is in siplest form. A fraction is in simplest form when you can't divide by anything any more.
