For the past today's everyone has been working really hard on our new novel assignment which is the extension activities. There were 18 questions to choose from. This is all the choices.
1.draw a scene from the book and explain it .
2. Prepare a travel brochure for the area of your book.
3. Find and write down 25 similes and metaphors.
4.Do research on any topic connected with your book.
5.make a job application for the main character.
6.find a newspaper want ad of interest to your main character and fill it in.
7.tell, in a paragraph what do you think happened before the story
8.write a letter to the author and explain how you felt about the books and ask questions that he or she may answer for you.
9. Draw a comic strip for your book.
10.create a poster for the novel
11. Draw a portrait of the main character
12. In chart form compare the written novel to the movie
13. Describe what you think happened to the main character after the story

I chose number 2 and number 5 both I did on the computer. I did the brochure on Microsoft publisher and printed off a job application form off the Internet.
