For this unit in math. We are learning about Geometry. Geometry has a lot to do with shapes and measuring, here are some of the definitions of the words that you might find in a geometry textbook

Points- They identify a position. They are represented by dots. Point B is written as .B

Lines- They are made up of a set of points. A line goes forever in both directions.

Ray- A part of a line with one endpoint a ray begins at the ending and goes on forever in one direction

Line Segment- They are a part of a line with 2 endpoints.

Angle- They are formed by 2 rays or line segments with a common endpoint. The endpoint is called the vertex.
