Ordered Pairs

This week in math we have been learning about ordered pairs. Ordered pairs are important because, on a map, ordered pairs can pinpoint the location by stating the numbers that are the ordered pairs. This is what an ordered pair looks like: (2,3).
Most ordered pairs are connected to maps, or T tables. When writing ordered pairs that are connected to a map, the number in front is the number on the horizontal line, then the number on the vertical line. When writing ordered pairs that are connected to T tables, you have the x column and the y column. When you write an ordered pairs, the x number comes first, then the y number
