This week we started reading a book called Island of the blue Dolphins. It's about a girl who her tribe left the island because the new chief thought there previous island was to dangerous to live on but she is left behind because she went back for her brother because he forgot his fishing spear and later on he is killed by a pack of wild dogs so Karana is left to survive on her own until the ship her tribe left on comes back for her.
