Ratios

Ratios are a way of comparing one amount to another for example: there are three green balls and two red balls. The ratio of green balls to red balls is 3 to 2
Ratios can be expressed in three different ways the first way is ratio form it looks like this 3:2 you could also use word form which looks like this 3 to 2 and the last one is fraction form which looks like this 3/2
There can also be equivalent ratios like 1:2 and 2:4 both the numbers are multiplied by the same number and both mean one half
Any ratio you see you always say " one to two" or " two to four"
