Ratios

Today in math we learned that there are three different ways to write a ratio.
You could write it in word form, which looks like this: 3to4
Or in ratio form like this: 3:4
Or even in fraction form like this: 3/4
 
We also learned that a ratio compares quantities and numbers.  For Example:  if you had 10 boys in your class and 6 girls, the ratio of boys to girls would be: 10:6
