This week in ELA we needed to read 5 more chapters in the book Island of the Blue Dolphins. A lot of things happen in these chapters, like: Karana actually makes a HUMAN friend. Something really sad also happened, Rontu, Karana's pet dog, died. Now, Karana is very lonely on the Island of the Blue Dolphins.
