Math
This week in math we started a new unit. There are many different things that we need to learn in this unit, but right we are working on variables. A variable is a letter that represents a number. For Example, If you had a question like this: 3+y, and it told you that y = 2, then the question would be rewritten like this: 3+2. Then you would just add the two numbers. Something else you need to know, is that if a question looked like this: 5x, and it said that x=6, because the numbers are right beside each other that means you multiply them together. But you would put the number that represents the x in brackets like this: 5(6). Then you would multiply them together.
