Math

Today in math we were doing questions on how's to add and subtract fractions.
Here's how
Say you have 2/3 + 3/4
First you find the common denominator by multiplying the two denominators
2/3 + 3/4
/12 + /12
Then you times whatever number you multiplied the denominator by
2 x 4 is 8 and 3 x 3 is 9 so
8/12 + 9/12 = 17/12
But that is an improper fraction so you have to change it to a mixed number so it would be
1 5/12
