Today in math we learned how to convert decimals to fractions. Here's how.

You have your number 

1.45 

So you will turn it into a mixed number which the whole number will stay the same.

1 45/100 

But you still have to change it to lowest terms. Both 45 and 100 can divide by 5 so that's what we will  use for our lowest terms.

1 9/20

And that's how you convert a decimal to a fraction.
