Adding Fractions

This week in math we have been adding fractions. Do you want to learn how to add fractions? You do, that's great.

First, if you have a question like this, 2/4+1/4, you would not have to change the denominator because they are both the same, so all you have to do now is add the numerators.

Although, if you had a question like this, 3/5+6/7, you would need to find the lowest common multiple between the two denominators or multiply them together. In this case I would multiply them by each other which is 35. So that would be the new denominator. Then I would just add the numerators and if needed would turn the fraction into lowest terms or turn it into a mixed number.
