Short Stories

Yesterday in short stories we started reading some stories about different people. Mine was about a man who is named Boris and he owns a store. His children work for him and he claims they never complain unless it is about allowance. The children think they work harder than any other children in their town and the other children get allowance but Boris' children don't get any. One day the children are mad and they call their father "stingy" and "mean" behind his back. But their mother hears and she scolds them for not respecting their father. A couple weeks later their father becomes gravely ill and asks his wife Sophie to do one last thing before he dies..... To bury him with all of his money.  She promises she will but the children over heard their parents conversation and tell their mother not to do it.
     When the funeral came it was a very sad day and many people in the community came to Boris' funeral. When the time came Sophie placed a cheque inside the coffin in Boris' hands. The cheque read "All Of It".
