Today I learned in math class how to multiply by a power of ten. To do that you take the number and multiply it by 1 and then add how many of zeros is in your power of 10. Example 4x1000 (4x1=4)  take the 3 zeros and put them behind the 4 and in front of the decimal if necessary.
