O Canada

In Social Studies class, we are doing an O Canada assignment.  One of the things we had to do was find the Lyrics of the Anthem. I happened to know them pretty well because I sing O Canada every school day morning.
We also had to answer some questions about the Anthem. One of them was:
Who wrote O Canada and when?
Believe it or not, Calixa Lavallée wrote it in 1880 so that means that Canada has had a National Anthem for a LONG time.
Want to sing along with the video?  Sure you do.  Here are the words:
O Canada
Our Home and Native Land
True Patriot Love
In all Thy Sons Command
With Glowing Hearts
We See Thee Rise
The True North Srong and Free
From Far and Wide O Canada
We Stand on Guard For Thee
God Keep Our Land
Glorious and Free
O Canada We Stand on Guard for Thee
O Canada We Stand on Guard for Thee
