Hatchet

Dear Diary. 

Hi I am Brian Robeson, I'm 13 years old. I showed a lot of determination and strength, to be able to survive in the wilderness, with no one else. I live with my mother, who is divorced. My mother gave me a gift before I left. It is a hatchet that fits on my belt so I put in on my belt. I met the pilot and he is a nice man. The pilot and I got ready to leave and I remember that I saw my mother with a man in the car. I left and after an hour or so, the pilot was yelling and screaming that his chest hurts. He had a heart attack and died. Now I had to fly the plane on my own. I picked up the CB radio and called for help. I made contact with a man and I told him the pilot had a heart attack and died and that I did not know how to fly a plane. I did not get an answer. I'm flying to Canada to visit my dad for the summer when suddenly the pilot has a heart attack and died. I grab onto controls and tried to land the plane but there's no flat area so I decide to crash into a lake. I hustled out of the plane with my hatchet at my side and swams to the shore. I had to use the natural recourses and my brain. I used my hatchet to make a shelter and weapons. I chopped down branches and set them up for my shelter.
